HOUSING.
During the year 1934, six new areas were represented by the
Medical Officer of Health. The clearing of these areas necessitated
the demolition of 294 houses, and the rehousing of 432
families, comprising 1,796 persons.

The building of new houses by the Council in areas which have
been previously represented, has been continued, and the following
