ANNUAL REPORT
OF THE
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH.
To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the Borough of
Bermondsey.
Madam, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I beg to submit my Annual Report for the year 1932. There
are no special points to which it is necessary to draw attention this
year. The work of the Department has proceeded smoothly,
and I trust, with efficiency during the year, and I have to thank
both the Chairmen and Members of Committees, and the staff,
for their very willing co-operation at all times.
Perhaps I may be allowed also to express my own personal
sense of loss occasioned by the death of Mrs. Nix, lately the Chairman
of the Maternity and Child Welfare Committee—a real
friend—an ideal Chairman.
