NURSING.
The following table shows the number of patients nursed
under the Council's Scheme, the diseases from which these
patients were suffering and the number of visits paid. Under
this scheme the Council assists in the provision of nursing for
expectant and nursing mothers, children under five, and for
patients suffering from the following diseases Measles, German
Measles, Whooping Cough, Puerperal Fever and Puerperal
Pyrexia, Epidemic Diarrhœa, Dysentery, Influenza, Ophthalmia
Neonatorum, Polio-myelitis, Encephalitis Lethargica, Malaria,
Acute Primary and Acute Influenzal Pneumonia and Tuberculosis.
