MILK PREMISES.
MILK AND DAIRIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1922.
Thirty-nine milksellers were registered under the above Act
during 1927, and 45 names were removed from the Register,
making a total of 200 milksellers on the Register at the end of
the year under report.
MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS) ORDER, 1923.

FOOD AND DRUGS.
In Table IX. of Appendix will be found a list of the samples
taken in 1927, and the action taken; 1,571 samples were taken,
compared with 1,566 in 1926, and 1,553 in 1925. Of these 3.2
per cent. were found adulterated, compared with 4.1 per cent.in
the previous year, and 2.8 per cent.in 1925.
