April 29th, 1914. George J. Briggs, 3 Hillingdon Chambers,
Walworth Road. Neglecting to execute the required works for the
abatement of a nuisance arising at Nos. 24 and 25 Alverton Street.
Necessary works carried out. Two summonses. Fined
5s. and 2s. costs in respect of each summons.
April 30th, 1914. George Crutcher, 195-201 Queen's Road. Selling
milk in an unclean receptacle.
Summons withdrawn upon payment of 23s. costs.
May 21st, 1914. Mrs. Simmonds, 491a New Cross Road. Unsound
peaches and plums.
Fined £2 and £3 3s. costs.
May 22nd, 1914. Walter Madden (carman), 24 Beale Street,
Plaistow. Removing fish offal during prohibited hours.
Fined 5s. and 2s. costs.
May 22nd, 1914. Walter Madden (as above). Removing fish
offal in an unsuitable receptacle.

May 22nd, 1914. Wm. G. Hawkins, 24 and 26 Beale Street,
Plaistow. (Owner.) 2 summonses withdrawn upon conviction of carman

June 11th, 1914. Salvatore Pariso, 61 Church Street. No name
on ice-cream barrow.

June 11th, 1914. Joseph Jannece, 14 Batchelor's Hall Place,
Peckham. No name on ice-cream barrow.
Fined 5s. and 2s. costs.
June 11th, 1914. Anna Bray, 71 Crofton Road, Peckham. Neglecting
to execute the required works for the abatement of a nuisance
arising at 23 Chubworthy Street.
Magistrate made Order for works to be carried out within
10 days. 6s. costs.
The necessary works were subsequently carried out.
July 9th, 1914. G. N. Harling and Son, 79 Brockley Road. Improper
construction of soilpipe at Messrs. Peppercorn's Premises,
Broadway. The necessary works were executed after service of
summons.
Summons withdrawn on payment of 2s. costs.
