SEPTIC DISEASES.
Erysipelas.
Sixteen deaths were referred to erysipelas, or one below the
corrected average of eight years. These deaths are equal to a
death rate of 0.04 per 1,000.
It is noticeable that the mortality was greater at two periods
of life, namely under one year, and between 45 and 55. At the
former age period there were six deaths, and at the latter five,
leaving only five to be distributed over the other periods of life.
The mortality in each registration sub-district was as follows:
