Measles.
There were 56 deaths due to this disease, which is 22 below
the average for the last ten years, and 38 above the number for
1919.
Whooping Cough.
41 deaths were due to this cause, against 4 in 1919.
Enteric Fever.
1 death was due to this cause in Rotherhithe There were
3 deaths in 1919.
Tubercular Diseases.
The number of deaths from all forms of tubercular disease in
1920 was 170, against 229 in 1919.
Phthisis.
In Table B will be found particulars of deaths from phthisis
since the year 1910. There were 137 deaths due to this cause,
which is 37 less than the number recorded in the previous year.
