Report on the sanitary condition of the Borough of Bermondsey for the year 1914

The death-rate for the Borough in 1914, was 17·6 per thousand
living inhabitants, being 0·3 below that recorded in 1913, and 1·0
below the average for the last 10 years. If the Census population
be taken as the basis of calculation of the rate, it works out at 17·3,
which is 0·5 below that for 1913.
