DISINFECTANTS.
Forty casks of Sanitas Powder, making up 2,800
packets, have been distributed from the Public Health
Department.
Nine hundred and sixty pint bottles of Sanitas Fluid
and six hundred and forty pint tins of Izal Fluid have also
been distributed.
Three-quarters of a ton of sulphur candles were
used in the disinfection of rooms throughout the year.
Five gallons of Formalin Solution (40 per cent.) have
been used in spraying the walls of rooms, and five pounds
of Formalin Tablets have been used for fumigating
articles in the Formalin Chamber.
Fifteen gallons of Creocide were also used for
disinfecting purposes.
