Veal.—Only 9 cwts. 2 qrs. 21 lbs. of veal was seized as unfit for human
consumption. The greater part of this had been damaged by fire on board ship, and
the remainder was stores from various vessels.
Offal.—The offal seized as unfit for human consumption was as follows :—

Sausages.—These totalled 2,766 cases, weighing 70 tons 5 cwts. 3 qrs. 12 lbs.,
most of which had been in cold store for a considerable time.
Meats (Canned).—The tinned meats seized and disposed of consisted of 2,195
cases and 5,291 tins, weighing 88 tons 6 cwts. 2 qrs. 19 lbs.

5 cwts. 1 qr. 26 lbs., were seized during the year.
Rabbits (Tinned), Poultry and Game.—The goods under this class were:—
149 cases, 2,702 tins, 4 bags and 8 loose articles, weighing 6 tons 12 cwts. 1 qr. 26 lbs.,
as compared with nil of last year.
Fish.—The fish seized and destroyed consisted of :—
