The distribution of the various cases was as follows:—Lung,
409; Meninges, 4; Intestines, nil; other forms, 77. The numbers
notified in previous years are shown in Table 28 facing page
56. Since 1909, when a limited notification of Tuberculosis
became compulsory, 5,269 persons have been notified as suffering
from Tuberculosis in one form or another. At the end of 1919,
2,081 were known to be living in the district.
