During the period under review 1,100 Examinations were made of the sputum, blood or throat membrane and mucus of persons suspected to be suffering from either Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Enteric Fever, Diphtheria or Cerebrospinal Meningitis of which 258, or 23*4 per cent., gave positive results.
