Unhealthy Areas.—Nothing has yet been done to deal with
areas officially represented to the London County Council under
the Housing Acts.
SECTION 10.
MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE.
No substantial change was made during the year in connection
with the activities under the Council's Maternity and Child Welfare
Scheme.
The Infant Consultations held at the various Centres continue
to be greatly appreciated by the mothers and chiefly owing to this
fact it was found necessary to hold additional sessions at the
Borough Hall on Mondays, Shooters Hill Road on Tuesdays and
Conduit House on Fridays, for weighing purposes. This arrangement
undoubtedly has had the effect of relieving the congestion
at these centres, which are now held as follows :—
