from one to five, 7 cases; five to fifteen, 30 cases; fifteen to twentyfive,
49 cases ; twenty-five to forty-five, 90 cases ; forty-five to sixtyfive,
43 cases ; and 5 cases over sixty-five ; whilst the Non-Pulmonary
were : Under one year of age, 0 cases, one to five, 11 cases ; five to
fifteen, 24 cases; fifteen to twenty-five, 13 cases ; and twenty-five to
forty-five, 9 cases.
Three hundred and ninety specimens were forwarded by
medical practitioners for bacteriological investigation from patients
suspected to be consumptive ; 303 were reported to be negative and
87 positive.
Disinfection has been offered and carried out in 121 cases, including
165 rooms and 456 articles of bedding, etc.; disinfectant has
also been supplied to patients to disinfect sputum, etc., and sputum
pots where such are found necessary.
