POPULATION.
The population of the Borough estimated to the middle of the
year 1923 is 102,460, being an increase of 530 over that of last year,
and it is upon this figure that the statistics generally in this Report
are based. (The Registrar-General's estimate is 102,777).

The distribution of the population throughout the Borough is as follows:—
