SECTION 10.
MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE.
The Council's Maternity and Child Welfare Scheme, as outlined
in my Report for the year 1921, has, generally speaking, continued
on similar lines during the year under review. In May, however,
Miss Buckton, one of the Health Visitors, resigned and, as the
Council decided not to fill her place, it was necessary to alter slightly
the Health Visitors' Districts.
Up to May, 1922, seven Infant Consultations were held weekly, three of which, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, took place at the Borough Hall. The vacancy caused by Miss Buckton's resignation necessitated the withdrawal of one of these Consulta-tions, which have since been held as follows:—
