circularised the Infant Welfare Centres as to the conditions under
which this milk could be obtained for the benefit of the young
infants. Under this arrangement, £750 worth of milk was distributed
to the mothers attending the various Infant Welfare
Centres during 1918. This milk was purchased at 1s. 10d. a lb.

very wise arrangement, and has been of great benefit to the young
infants.

for this, the mothers bring their own jars, and Virol is
dispensed at 2d. per oz., which is roughly, at cost price.
