The notification of cases of Tuberculosis by medical
practitioners is, unfortunately, not carried out as required by
the Regulations, that is within 48 hours of the same coming to
their knowledge.
There are undoubtedly many difficulties attending the
notification of this disease, but the efforts of Local Authorities,
and the money spent in combating this disease are to a large
extent rendered nugatory.
