Tuberculosis.
During the year 880 cases of Tuberculosis in its different forms were
notified. The attack-rate was equal to 2.67 per 1,000 of the civil population.
This number shows a decrease of 309 on the return of the previous year, and
of 1.48 per 1,000 on the attack-rate. It was also 175 below the number
in 1917.
Pulmonary Tuberculosis—759 notifications were received, of which
452 referred to males and 307 to females, and represented an attack-rate of
2'30 per 1,000. The return was a decrease of 247 on that of 1918, and 138
on 1917.
