Scale of Income for Necessitous Cases.
The net income mentioned below is the amount left after deducting the household and husband's expenses from his wages.

Circumstances respecting illness, unemployment, etc., are taken into
account when assessing cases. The above Scale is based on income of family
from all sources. If any charge is made, the applicants pay according to their
circumstances, one half, one third, or one fourth of the cost.
