DISINFECTION.
(a) Rooms.—During 1919, there were 2,093 rooms fumigated
and 278 rooms cleansed in the Borough by the staff of the Public
Health Department. In these totals are included disinfections
after measles, whooping cough and tuberculosis, in addition to
those in connection with the present notifiable infectious diseases.
The number of rooms fumigated and cleansed each month is
set out in the following table:—

(b) Articles of Clothing, Furniture, etc.—The number of
articles under this head disinfected during last year was 13,129.
This is an increase of 1,638 upon the number disinfected
during 1918. A table is here given showing details of the articles
disinfected each month.
