Senile Mortality.—The deaths which occurred in Hackney at
65 years of age and upwards during 1919 numbered 1,017, and of
these 496 were between the ages of 65 and 75 years, 400 between
75 and 85 years, and 121 at 85 and upwards. The annual mortality
rate of persons at 65 years and upwards is 4.6 per 1,000
inhabitants.
