There were also some deaths that actually occurred in sanatoria,
without reckoning those who had presumably received treatment in a
sanatorium but who died at home. There were twelve of these
in some one or other of these institutions, and in five of them,
judging from their length of stay, it would appear that the admission
was too belated to produce even a temporary improvement.
The deaths, however, that did take place in the Infirmary,
