Mortality from Tuberculosis.—210 deaths (110
of males and 100 of females) were registered from
pulmonary tuberculosis, representing a death-rate of
1.41 per 1,000, the average of the preceding five years
being 1.30.
To other tuberculous diseases 56 deaths were due,
the mortality being at the rate of 4.38 per 1,000.
The distribution of the deaths from tuberculosis was as under:—
