Sanitary Staff.
An additional Sanitary Inspector (Mr. M. Canton) was
appointed in May to deal with Heckfield Place and other
insanitary areas as recommended in my report to the
Council. In August, Inspectors Manning and Canton
joined the 2nd London Sanitary Corps and Mr. H.
Carter was appointed as temporary Sanitary Inspector
during their absence.
The need for the appointment of a Health Visitor
which I have repeatedly urged upon the Council is
much felt.
