Wrong Diagnosis.—Fifty-eight cases of Infectious disease
were removed to the Hospitals of the Metropolitan Asylums
Board and subsequently returned home in consequence of the
patients being found not to be suffering from the disease
stated on the certificates, or any other notifiable disease.
This number referred to 18 cases of Diphtheria and 29
oases of Scarlet Fever, and 1 case of Encephalitis Lethargica.
Cleansing of Verminous Persons.—Provision has now
been made for the cleansing of verminous persons, the Council
having erected a Cleansing Station in Scotts Road, Shepherd's
Bush.
Negotiations are taking place and it is hoped that arrangements
will be made for the cleansing of school children to
commence early in 1924.

Children attending the L.C.C. Schools and requiring cleansing are dealt with at the Cleansing Stations at Sedlescombe Road, Fulham, and Blechynden Mews, Kensington.
