Workshops.
At the end of 1923 there were 304 workshops on the Register,
including 48 domestic workshops. Excluding these hitter, there were
545 males and 510 females employed in the workshops. During the
year 752 inspections were made and 13 notices served.

Legal Proceedings.
Legal proceedings were taken on certain occasions in 1923 by the
Council, in connection with the Health Department, under the various
Acts of Parliament and By-laws and Regulations made thereunder
