Careful inquiries were made in each case, with a view to ascertaining
the source of infection. Twelve of the cases occurred among the staff of
the North- Western Fever Hospital, as compared with 8 in 1913.

Enteric Fever.
The number of cases notified was 16 as compared with 14 in 1913,
and 9 in 1912. The attack-rate per 1000 population was 0.18. One
of the cases notified proved fatal, or 6.2 per cent. of the cases notified.
