Tuberculosis.
During the year 780 cases of Tuberculosis in its different forms were
notified. The attack-rate was equal to 2.32 per 1,000 of the civil population.
This number shows a decrease of 100 on the return of the previous year, and
of 0.35 per 1,000 on the attack-rate. It was also 409 below the number
in 1918.
Pulmonary Tuberculosis.—663 notifications were received, of which
381 referred to males and 282 to females, and represented an attack-rate of
1.97 per 1,000. The return was a decrease of 96 on that of 1919, and 343
on 1918.
