Hospital Isolation.—Of the 2,870 cases of infectious diseases notified,
2,642 were isolated in hospital, or a percentage of 92.0, while only 8 per
cent. of the patients, therefore, were nursed at home.
The following tabular statement shows the number of cases treated in the various public institutions:—
