Marriages, 3,080; Marriage Rate, 18.30.—The number of persons
married was 6,160, as contrasted with 8,504 in the preceding year, which is a
decrease of 2,444. The marriage rate was 18.30 per thousand inhabitants, as
compared with 26.12 in 1915.
