The death-rate for the Borough in 1910 was 17.6 per thousand living inhabitants, being
1.2 below that recorded in 1909, and 2.2 below the average for the last 10 years If the Census
population be taken as the basis of calculation of the rate, it works out at 17.0, which is 1.2 below
that for 1909. This is the lowest death rate yet recorded in the Borough.
