MEASLES.
Nineteen cases of this disease were reported, and these, with the exception
of 9, occurred on vessels.
None of the cases were from Training Ships, the 9 exceptions occurring
in a dwelling-house within the docks.

DIPHTHERIA.
Of the 11 cases set out in Table XIV., 5 occurred on Training Ships and
were treated in the Isolation Hospital attached to these Institutions, while 6
occurred on vessels during the voyage, and of these 2 were convalescent on
arrival, 1 was removed to hospital abroad, 1 admitted to Denton Hospital,
and 1 died and was buried at sea, the remaining 1 being removed to a
Metropolitan Asylums Board Hospital,
