ENTERIC FEVER.
As shown by Table X, 36 cases of this disease were reported on vessels
entering the Port and otherwise. There were no cases of special interest.
The disease is one which affords many facilities for infection, difficult at
times to control. Of the cases admitted to Denton Hospital, four had a fatal
termination.
