iii.
In conclusion I desire to tender my thanks to the Chairman and Members of the Public
Health Committee, and to the Council, for the support which has been continuously accorded
to me during my term of office—now over fifteen years—and for the consideration with
which the advice it falls to me to tender, is received. Acknowledgments are also due, and
hereby sincerely tendered, to my medical confreres outside the Council, and to those voluntary
organisations which have done so much to forward the work entrusted to me.
I have the honour to be,
Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your most obedient servant,
m.a., m.b., d.p.h., f.s.s.,
Medical Officer of Health.
Town Hall,
Paddington, W.
