The sex-age distribution of the cases reported last year in the Borough is given in Table
6. Of the sex morbidity rates given in the last lines of that table, increases have to be noted
in those due to diphtheria (males, 0.56; females, 0.01), membranous croup (males, 0.01), and
scarlet fever (males, 0.87 ; females 0.51).
