Proceedings were taken in 12 cases, and in the other 3 warning
letters were sent in two cases, and in the third no action was
taken, as the vendor made disclosure before completion of
purchase.
The proceedings resulted in fines and costs being imposed in
8 cases; in 3 cases conviction (no penalty) and costs; and in the
other case summons was withdrawn on payment of costs, as the
bottle had burst.
