LEGAL PROCEEDINGS, 1911.
It is a matter for satisfaction that, apart from the proceedings
under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, only three other
summonses were needed.
One being for smoke nuisance.
One for insanitary conditions at two premises, which was
withdrawn after sundry adjournments, the work having been
satisfactorily completed in the meantime.
And one being for contravention of the By-laws relating to
the non-deposit of plans, in not giving notice of intention to
carry out sanitary alterations, and for carrying out work contrary
to the By-laws, which was again after several adjournments
withdrawn by arrangement.
