at the request of the Medical Attendant, it shall at the same
time be their duty, when it appears necessary, to urge the parent
to seek medical advice or call in the District Nurse. The
Visitor must, however, at no time and in no circumstances
express a preference for any particular medical man or medical
institution.
The Society does not administer relief, but, as relief may be
required, it shall be the duty of the Visitor to be well acquainted
with the methods of the Poor Law, and the various charitable
and social agencies.

The undermentioned Schools have been disinfected, owing
to the prevalence of infectious disease amongst the children
attending:—
4th Quarter.
October. St. John's (Girls' and Infants' Departments)—Scarlet
Fever.
„ Creed Place (Infants' and portion of Girls' Department)—Scarlet
Fever.
Morden Terrace (Infants' Department)—Measles.
