also been given to the sanitation of bakehouses (vide section of
report dealing with administration of Factory and Workshop Act)
and to premises wherein food is prepared, e.g. sausages, potted meats,
&c., other premises in which the sale of and preparation of food
in various ways is carried on, such as ice-cream, restaurant kitchens,
butchers' shops, &c., have been visited and systematically inspected
by the Council's officers.
