Briefly, this increase in notifications was mainly due to the
fact that Chicken Pox was made notifiable for three months
dating from March 22nd, and also to an increase in the number
of Tuberculosis notifications due to the Public Health (Tuberculosis
in Hospitals) Regulations, 1911.

All fees except those for the notification of Pulmonary
Tuberculosis are repaid to the Sanitary Authority by the
Metfopolitan Asylums Board.
