Offensive Businesses.
There are still two premises in the borough of offensive
businesses under the offensive trade regulations of the London
County Council, viz.:—
Messrs. Wheen & Sons, Ltd., Copperas Street.
Messrs. Hill & Sons, Ltd., 1 Frankham Street.
Number of inspections during the year 35
The offensive trade at 6 Edward Street was discontinued
during the year.
The premises were periodically cleansed and limewashed
in accordance with the regulations.
I am pleased to report that very few complaints were
received in reference to these premises, and that they were well
supervised.
