Illegitimacy.
The illegitimates numbered 205, or 4.9 percent, of the
total births, of these 168 occurred among those born
within and 37 among those born outside the borough.
Still-born Children.
75 still born children were buried in Fulham Cemetery,
being in the proportion of one still-born child to every
56 living.
Excess of Births over Deaths.
The natural increase of the population by the excess
of births over deaths was 2,190, compared with 2,192,
2,402 and 1,894 in the preceding three years.
