Seasonal Mortality.
The mortality in the four quarters of the year was as under:—

Fourth quarter | 564 | 14.5 |
Mortality in Former Years.
In Table III. will be found the number of deaths and
the death-rate in each of the preceding five years. The
difference between the rate for 1912 and the average
rate of the five years, 1907-1911, represents a saving of
138 lives.
