There were still seven tenement factories on the register at
the close of the year. The list included 7 tenement factories in
which there were separate occupiers carrying on different trades
or processes and supplied with mechanical power by the owners of
the premises.
The following paragraphs indicate the workshops, workplaces
and factories on the registers, and show the large variety of manufacturing
processes which are carried on in Finsbury.
