This year there is an increased number of deaths due to
measles, diarrhœa, enteritis, marasmus and wasting conditions; a
diminished number due to diphtheria, hooping cough, premature
birth, chest complaints, and overlying.
The deaths from diarrhœa and enteritis are excessive, and are
referred to below.
