(g) Under "Congenital Defects " in Table V. are to be included deaths
from Atelectasis, Icterus Neonatorum, Navel Haemorrhage, Malformations
and Congenital Hydrocephalus.
(h) Under "Tuberculous Meningitis" are to be included deaths from
Acute Hydrocephalus.
(i) Under "Other Tuberculous Diseases" are to be included deaths
from Tuberculosis, Tuberculosis of bones, joints and other organs,
Lupus and Scrofula.
(f) All deaths certified by registered Medical Practitioners and all
inquest cases are to be classed as "Certified"; all other deaths
are to be regarded as " Uncertified."
In recording the facts under the various headings of Tables I., II., III., IV.
and V., attention has been given to the notes on the Tables.
