COMPARISON WITH OTHER UNDERTAKINGS.
Is this an extravagant outlay ? The only way to
ascertain is to compare the cost with other Undertakings, and
the following Schedule (taken from the London County Council
Electric Supply Returns, 1906), will show that the Hammersmith
Undertaking has been laid down on more economical
lines than any other included in the Return, so the Capital has
evidently been expended to the best advantage.
