Report on the health of the Metropolitan Borough of Battersea for the year 1910

Enteric Fever.
During 1910, 41 cases of enteric fever were notified in the
Borough of Battersea as compared with 48 in 1909 and 36 in 1908,
and 7 deaths were registered from the disease, giving a case mortality
of 17 per cent., and a death-rate per 1,000 population of 0.03.
The number of deaths was the same as in 1909.

In the following table are set out the case-rate, death-rate and mortality from enteric fever in the Borough of Battersea during the ten years 1900-09, and during 1910, respectively:-
