to the
PUBLIC HEALTH COMMITTEE.
Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present, in accordance Report.
with your standing orders, the Annual Report on the
work carried out by the staff of the Public Health
Department for the year ending 31st December, 1910.
As the period covered by this Report synchronises
more or less closely with the termination of certain
other periods, it will perhaps be permissible to take
this as a convenient opportunity for directing attention
to a few interesting figures which may prove, not
only of some general interest to the members of the
Council, but might I venture to suggest, be taken as
evidence that the policy and procedure of the Health
Committee and its Department for some years past
stands out more fully justified by results as year after
year elapses.
